The Children for NFI (CfNFI) movement is a heartfelt initiative led by the Neonates Foundation of India, bringing together children as young changemakers in support of neonatal care. Daffodils Foundation for Learning (DFL) is the first partner school to join this pioneering programme, which encourages students to use their voice, creativity, and generosity to make a tangible difference.
Through CfNFI, young minds are introduced to the power of giving, not just as a gesture, but as a way of life. As part of the programme, children participate in celebration giving, contributing to neonatal care. Every young donor receives a babyfoot-shaped bookmark as a token of gratitude, a small keepsake for a big-hearted action.

- 2,000+ students engaged through hands-on activities and events
- Anthem for NFI, composed and performed by DFL’s student musicians, celebrating compassion and care
- Art for a Cause 2.0 – an on-the-spot art session for children, held as part of their Joy of Sharing event, that raised ₹1 lakh in support of NICU babies.
- Interactive Awareness Sessions led by the NFI team and student ambassadors of partner schools to sensitise students to the cause
- Toy Collection Drive, where children shared their beloved toys to bring comfort to NICU families
- Birthday & Special Occasion Giving, encouraging students and teachers to donate on meaningful days
