When Colour Meets Compassion
At NFI, we believe that care can begin with a crayon, and this event proved it beautifully.
The Children for NFI – Art for a Cause, an initiative co-hosted by Daffodil Foundation of Learning and sponsored by Tata Soulfull, was more than an art competition. It was a celebration of young minds using creativity to support the tiniest lives. Children, guided by their parents and educators, came together to raise awareness for premature babies through art.
From the joyful brushstrokes of 4-year-olds to the thoughtful eco-creations of older children, every entry echoed a simple truth: even small hands can create a big impact.
Highlights included:
- Ages 4-6: A burst of colour and imagination as our youngest artists brought picture sheets to life with heartwarming enthusiasm.
- Ages 7-9: Thoughtful “Best Out of Waste” creations showcasing sustainability in action.
- Ages 10-12: Themed T-shirt design challenge on Go Green, combining creativity and consciousness.
The event was graced by renowned doodle artist Sridhar Comaravalli as the Chief Guest, whose presence and inspiring words encouraged children to keep creating for a cause.
Together, we turned a school space into a gallery of hope, and every drawing into a message of care.
Each child’s effort supported NFI’s mission to improve neonatal care across India. These small acts of expression help us build awareness, raise funds, and foster community involvement, starting from the grassroots.
