Hosted by Neonates Foundation of India, My Journey in Philanthropy was more than a dinner; it was a heartfelt celebration of what’s possible when compassion meets collective action.
The evening marked a powerful milestone: 100 acutely ill NICU babies saved. But more than the numbers, it was a time to reflect on the people and purpose behind the impact, from donors and partners to caregivers, volunteers, and young changemakers.
At the heart of the gathering was an inspiring fireside chat between Mr. Subroto Bagchi and Mr. Vishal Bali, who shared deeply personal insights on giving, purpose, and building a culture of care in India. Their conversation was a reminder that philanthropy isn’t just about giving money, it’s about giving meaning to life.
The evening also witnessed the unfurling of the NFI Anthem, a moving moment led by the students of Children for NFI (CfNFI) from Daffodils Foundation for Learning, who sang the anthem they composed, voices of the next generation, singing for the most fragile lives.
Adding to the emotional resonance was a graceful Odissi dance performance by young Natania, paying tribute to the generosity and cultural spirit that fuels our mission.Every story shared, every life saved, and every gesture of support is a chapter in our shared journey. This evening was our way of saying: thank you for believing in beginnings.
