Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 | NFI Debut
January 18 marked a proud milestone for Neonates Foundation of India as we made our debut at the Tata Mumbai Marathon, surrounded by an incredible community that showed up with heart, belief, and purpose.
From first-time runners to seasoned marathoners, individuals and teams alike came together with one shared intention. Every stride taken and every kilometre conquered helped bring hope, care, and a fighting chance to critically ill and premature newborns across India.
A special mention to Team Comacoe, whose spirit truly embodied what running with purpose looks like. With runners across age groups, many taking on their very first marathon, the team stood out for its energy and commitment. Guided by nutrition insights from Anuja Patel and on-ground race preparation from Dr. Ashok Swain, who also ran alongside the team.
The marathon also brought moments that stayed with us long after the finish line. From Gautham CB completing the Mumbai full marathon and earning his Procam Slam finisher medal, and choosing to present the twin medal ribbon that reads “Inspiration” to Neonates Foundation of India, to Dhiren Kanwar finishing the Procam Slam, each milestone carried deeper meaning.
We were also inspired by an 87-year-old runner who completed the Super Seniors 4.2 for the fourth time, a powerful reminder that purpose and perseverance have no age limit. Captured and celebrated alongside the incredible community at Runners 360, these moments reminded us why we run and who we run for.
Every cheer from the sidelines, every mile logged, and every gesture of support carried a deeper meaning. This was more than a race. It was belief in action. It was people coming together for tiny lives.
From the streets of Mumbai to the lives touched beyond the course, the day reminded us that real victories are measured not in timings, but in impact.
Together, we ran with purpose.
Together, we ran for newborn lives.
